Medina is co-founder of Nostalgic Rags, Kati Hammett's 1953 Mercury Monterey Mild Custom. Medina has been all over the country with Kati driving her to California many times to Paso Robles and Santa Maria. Medina has been down the Delta Blues Highway, Route 66, and Tail of the Dragons. Medina has been to every Wigwam Village Motel in the country, Talladega Super Speedway, Shack Up Inn, Blue Swallow Motel, Country Tavern, Shady Dell, Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero, Sun Records, Stax Museum, The Dockery, and Graceland to name a few. She has participated in every Lone Star Round Up and multiple Bayou Round Ups. She has driven the same routes with the many of the Kontinental's and Fender Skirts owners such as Reggie Hill, Norm Jones, Will Muntz, Steve Wertheimer, Mike Young, Blake and Joyce Burwell, Ben Thomas and Laura Grable, Bill Rowe, Chuck Barrett, Jim Jard, Corey Severa, and Brian Auderer to name a few.
Kati was so proud of that car and she picked a good one. Medina gave Kati so much satisfaction and freedom to be herself without having to be anybody else!
