In between Hwy 360 and 71 sits a little community called Cuernavaca or "Cuerny" for short. In the 70's the Hippie's were some of the first to live in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is where Kati and I raised our kid's. Tons of adventure in Cuerny with the Austin Lake Hills Park featuring boat launch, swimming pool, river access for swimming, grills and picnic tables for cooking out and parties. A not so secret community any longer, but still one of the best in W. Austin!
